From Paris, to Riom is approximately 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours, and Paris to Vichy also takes about 4 hours via the A71 highway.
Riom and Vichy are about 40 minutes apart by car via the Departemental road.
By Train (SNCF)
From Paris, (Bercy station) direct to Riom–Châtel-Guyon is 3 hours 22 minutes.
From Paris, (Bercy station) direct to Vichy is 3 hours.
Note that the train always stops at Vichy before arriving in Riom.

Riom: Free parking at Pré Madame (2 Fbg de la Bade, 63200 Riom), and 1 Av. Jean Reynouard free or paid Street parking Boulevard chancelier de l'hospital.
Vichy: Next to Chalet Impérial Clermont-Tonnerre there is a paid parking at Parking des Célestins, (111 Bd des États Unis, 03200 Vichy) €15 per day. There is also Street paid parking 4 Rue Petit Vichy.
